ABOUT MANILA MARATHON

What is Manila Marathon?

The RUNRIO Manila Marathon is the gold standard of Philippine running. More than a race, every step tells a story of discipline, sacrifice, and the unbreakable Filipino spirit. Each stride is a statement, a challenge, a triumph.

Proudly featuring an AIMS-certified 42KM course and sanctioned by PATAFA and World Athletics, every kilometer meets the highest international standards.

As Asia’s marathon movement grows, Manila leads—welcoming runners from around the world to streets alive with history, culture, and passion. Here, limits are tested, resilience is forged, and every finish line is earned. Greatness isn’t measured by speed or distance alone, but by the courage to push forward when it gets hard.

Every kilometer, every heartbeat, every run is a choice. This is GRIT OVER QUIT—a promise to yourself, and to the journey.
